The composer years (10)

The colossal work: Tripartito (Tripartite) 2011

Twenty eleven was the year of maximum creativity, the fruit of which was the previous one and this colossal three-part work.

I recommend the didactic guide for a better understanding. It comes from three different approaches.

Under the first, Cuentos en blancas y negras (Tales in Black and White), is collected earlier material that was intended for educational purposes. When I was studying at the Conservatory as a child, the works were inappropriate and had no connection to childhood. Arduous and tortuous piano exercises capable of boring even the most ardent music lover.

I used traditional tales by Perrault, Andersen, and others to bring the difficult task of piano technique closer to children.

Publishers refused to publish it, and, recalling some of Weber's four-hand works with Itziar, I published this improved version.

The second block, Invernal (Wintry), consists of a series of unreleased or recovered pieces of old Christmas songs, either original with my elementary school students or versions. The first group includes Muñeco de nieve (Snowman) and Espíritu de Navidad (Christmas Spirit), the second, Noel and Din Don, and the third, Ya vienen los Reyes (The Three Wise Men Are Coming).

This block once again focuses on the orchestral world.

The mega-album is completed with Ecce Mater, a tribute to the servants of Christ, but emphasizing their altruism, social work, and solidarity without any religious implications. It's a block that atomizes characters by their contexts. The exception is

Amatissima, a look far removed from sanctity and closer to the mother of all mothers.

These were productions still under the umbrella of Korg's Triton Extreme and audio enhancement programs. Distribution was handled by CDBaby. The profits

were so paltry that they insulted the honesty of such an elaborate and creative work, but more on that later.

I never had a professional approach; a vague altruistic possibility of solidarity developed within me that yielded no results.

It's likely that by then I had my website; it's something that's lost in the gaps in my past.
