The years as an arranger

During my time with the Monte Carlo Orchestra, I received an offer to arrange some songs by the La Tarasca Theater Company.
In those days, sequencers offered great possibilities for creating mock-ups. The play was "The Hour of Truth," and the work consisted of arrangements based on bases already created by the composer or composers.
I must admit that I wasn't very good at sequencing, at least not at "humanizing" it, and the work wasn't liked.
With these sequencer capabilities, a growing number of beginner artists used them as playbacks in their shows.
I arranged some of them for local artists.
During my time with Adiós a Dios, I was also in charge of arranging these songs. Some of these arrangements served as inspiration for some of my work as a composer, such as in Chamán, from the album MIRADORES.
José Ramón Bocanegra, director of La Tarasca, again asked me to arrange some music for the children's play "Robinson Crusoe," and I even composed a few pieces.
The result was the same, but he didn't pay me.
